So, what is this? Well, actually its a somewhat older boomer broadcasting a blog! I've tried this a few times this past year without success, concentrating on the blog look instead of the blog-say!
First, I tried general blogging in the hope that I could make a little extra cash. Unfortunatly, I didn't know enough about blogs and was quickly distracted. I spent most of my time reading 'blogs of note' pointed out on my dashboard and trying to figure out where bloggers came up with those very cool backgrounds and layouts that I saw there. My second attempt was a niche blog about riding trains. I love to travel on trains but I've only been on the west coast riding them. At the time I didn't think that was enough exposure....but rethinking this , I may go back and revisit this blog. I even took a picture from YouTube and placed it on the blog!
With this blog, I've decided not to use up all my time and energy to pretty this up (Oh, to be Mondo at Fresh Ribbon!) I've learned a few blogging tricks since I began but not enough yet. So its going to be plain blog until I'm better at changing things around.
I'm forever posting thoughts into a notebook or having them stack up in my mind leaving not too much room for anything too useful. My husband used to call me 'The Perpetual Writer'. He was right. I suppose I do like to write.and I'd be placed in the hospital if I went around saying all that's on my mind instead of writing it down. So, in the interest of saving tree's I will blog my thoughts about past, present and the future and invite comments and also your thoughts.
